We are a couple who are passionate about our art. We make wedding photography fun by working as a team to make you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. We also mix in with other guests to capture candid shots of guests. You will have 2 photographers on the day capturing from 2 different angles. We will make a plan with you before the wedding and go through the day in fine detail of the shots you want. All this takes time and effort to make the day smooth for you, A lot of work goes in to a wedding not just by you but everyone involved. We just don’t turn up and take a few shots. We make it right for you with your input. Visit our website and our Facebook and have a chat with us with no obligation and see how we can make your day.

I am a Manchester and Cheshire wedding photographer, not only covering the North West of England but the whole of the UK. I have been shooting weddings for some 15 years now and still love being invloved in this hugely important event in people’s lives. I have always seen my role, as a wedding photographer as one of observing and recording, not interfering.

This style of Wedding Photography not only produces more emotive pictures but allows couples to enjoy their day without unnecessary interruption. My clients, from all walks of life have one thing in common, none of them want their wedding dominated by time consuming Wedding Photography. I am always happy to shoot family group photographs and Bride and Groom portraits, usually taking no more than 20 to 30 minutes to do so. No cheesy poses guaranteed!

I use two of the best album companies in the world to showcase your pictures, Jorgensen albums of Australia, and the UK based, Folio Fine Art albums.

The most important page on this Wedding Photography site is the testimonial page. I put great emphasis on customer service. Over 80% of my wedding photography commissions come from recommendations by previous clients. I am always happy for prospective clients to speak with people I’ve previously worked for.

I’m fully insured, and am a qualified Associate member of the BIPP.

I believe that choosing the right wedding photographer is a huge decision. You only get one chance to make the right choice. You want to be able to look back on your special day with the best memories. The best wedding photographers will not only capture the set up shots, but also the little moments that make the day -the small things that go unnoticed. They will capture the secret kisses, the laughter and smiles, the hugs and heartfelt looks. These moments are spontaneous and can’t be planned. They are gone as quick as they appear. A good photographer will be ready for them, constantly looking for those private moments between the crowd. Not only do they have to spot them, they also have to have the technical ability to change the camera settings quickly enough to capture them before the moment is lost.

It’s the little things that count. They will capture the details and portray the effort that has gone into every aspect of your wedding. They will make you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the day.

Your wedding photographer should be someone who you can get to know and fully trust. You have to know that they are going to care and that your wedding isn’t just another shoot. The right photographer will understand that this is one of the most important days of your lives and they will strive to help you remember it truly.

Perhaps the fact I have a name for each of my cameras says more about me than this page ever could. At the age of 6 I achieved my first recognition when I was awarded the prestigious Blue Peter Badge in a photography competition. It was only later in life that my very own dad confessed to taking the winning image. From that moment on I would embark in a quest to redeem my artistic integrity. I’d like to think that somewhere down the line a negative developed in my noggin & blessed me with the ability to make the world look beautiful. But the reality is my love of photography has always existed & my adoration of the still image is an extension of my passion for film. After studying a BA in film & TV production & realising I’m not the next Wes Anderson. Beginnings within fine art & travel photography turned into a hunger for photojournalism. This fast paced & emotive style naturally led me to wedding photography.

“I’d like to think that somewhere down the line a negative developed in my noggin & blessed me with the ability to make the world look beautiful.”

I’ve been accused of turning up to weddings with a camera in every pocket. Unlike a lot of photographers, I still shoot film alongside digital. Seeing a couples expression as you take out a plastic camera & revelling in the unpredictability of the medium only fuels my aesthetic. My style is relaxed, quirky, vintage & spontaneous. I believe in capturing those fleeting moments of emotion, expression… Love. Of course having a few laughs along the way is always a bonus. Weddings for me are about family, they’re about those brief moments of interaction in between the staged portraits of old. Of course everyone wants that posed image of their 90 year old Nan smoking a cebratory Cuban cigar like Fidel Castro. But for me it’s about adding a twist to that formal side of portraiture.

“I’ve been accused of turning up to weddings with a camera in every pocket.”

Far from the standard single genre websites of other image makers. I believe in displaying my fine art & travel photography alongside my wedding portfolio. Beyond the Megapixel lies a memory framed & beyond the image lies a story. Narrative within the image is as powerful as the written word & it’s this I try to convey within my art. I specialise in affordable non traditional vintage reportage & alternative documentary style wedding photography, fine art giclée prints plus rights managed stock imagery in Saltaire, Leeds & the Yorkshire area. My sense of fun, style & professional commitment is a testament to years of working with happy clients.
